Hospice Care in Your Home
The Masonic Village Hospice team is dedicated to maintaining the highest quality of life attainable for our patients, no matter where they may be in life’s journey.
Compassionate End-of-life Care
Hospice is designed to give supportive care to individuals in the final phase of a terminal illness. Care focuses on comfort and quality of life, rather than a cure. Our goal is to enable patients to participate in their care as much as possible and to be comfortable and pain-free.
We are committed to providing compassionate end-of-life care while acknowledging the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of the patient and their family. As a team, we do our best to meet each patient’s unique personal needs.
Care by Masonic Village Hospice is overseen by a registered nurse and a medical director, and accompanied by a team of of certified nurses’ aides, social workers, volunteers and spiritual resources, whose priority is to make the journey easier and more fulfilling for the patient and family. Together, they take on the role of alternate caregivers in helping patients complete daily tasks and lending a listening ear, so spouses, friends and family have the support they need.
In addition to providing the necessary resources to manage pain and discomfort, Masonic Village Hospice also focuses on creating special moments and making lasting memories with families.
When the time comes for the patient to let go, hospice bereavement staff uplifts and supports family and friends through the grieving process. Masonic Village Hospice offers bereavement sessions in group and individual settings.
