Hospice care is designed to give supportive care to individuals in the final phase of a terminal illness. Hospice focuses on comfort and quality of life, rather than a cure. Our goal is to enable patients to participate in their care as much as possible and to be comfortable and pain free.
Beyond medical care, we offer advance care planning, caregiver support, spiritual care and bereavement support services. Learn how to bridge the gap between curative treatment and end-of-life-care with our Bridge Program.
We are a proud participant in the We Honor Veterans program and value the importance of honoring our veteran patients.
We coordinate care with the patient’s physician, who assists in supervising all services. Hospice services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance plans. Our staff will work with the patient’s insurance company to authorize care and coordinate benefits. A Masonic affiliation is not required to request services.
